The history of the Grand Hotel Tritone lives on in the mighty waves of the sea that break on the solid rocks of Praiano, an enchanted place, suspended over the Amalfi Coast.
It was there, in 1954, that a visionary project was born, inspired by beauty and driven by the ambition to give shape to an idea that would become a life project at the same time.
This story is permeated by the sea, the genius loci that since the dawn has moved the threads of the story and fueled a dream that the Gagliano family has been able to make concrete.
Each reality, in its path of evolution, produces concepts that combine to create new forms.
Grand Hotel Tritone has implemented a continuous expansion of the proposals and, in a moment of observation of its communicative universe, has felt the need to put order and renew its visual identity.
The stratification of projects therefore required a renewal of the visual codes capable of supporting the brand, allowing it to emerge and position itself consistently in the sector without distorting its characteristic features and memory.
As in the sinuous paths that cross this land, we have set out on a path of renewal that is careful and measured but full of discoveries. The analysis of the scenario allowed us to identify the strengths and elements on which to leverage. This was followed by a work of subtraction and the search for a more contemporary model capable of expressing the attitude of the Grand Hotel Tritone and the imprint of the Amalfi Coast.
We have dried the look and feel, structured the typography inspired by the geometries of the trident that dominates the historic pictogram and restored the atavistic strength of the name “triton”.
The technical construction, at times mannerist, of the logo has been accompanied by the creation of a palette that accentuates the tones, giving character and energy to the look & feel. The luxury and unmistakable style of the Amalfi Coast emerges with greater determination thanks to the details of every single element of the brand universe and touchpoints. The research of materials and the guidance of the production of supports represented a further tool for amplifying the concept, where sophisticated papers and obsessive attention to finishes restore value and recall the constant presence and attention of the family in the management of the Grand Hotel Tritone.
All actions come together in the restyling of the brand’s architecture. The birth of the restaurant, the bistro, the poolside lounge bar and the relaxation area, each with its own visual identity, had diverted attention from the main brand, making it unrecognizable and offering a divisive perception of its souls. We have restored uniformity through an alignment of brands that today communicate with a consistent language and stand out thanks to color palettes
